Qalandars Unveil Kit and Anthem for PSL 8: Get Ready for a Thrilling Title Defense

The defending champions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Lahore Qalandars, have launched their official kit and anthem for the upcoming 8th edition of the league. The reveal took place at the Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore during a special event called "Qalandars Night." 



The electrifying anthem, titled "Qalandar Hum," was sung by J Ali, who also composed the music. Zeeshan Hussain wrote the rousing lyrics, and the song was directed by Sameen Rana, the COO of the Lahore Qalandars franchise. The song captures the essence of "from hope to reality," and with its captivating shots of Lahore, cricket, and the vibrant energy of the city known as the heart of Pakistan, it is guaranteed to get fans pumped up. 




The kit also pays homage to Lahore, with a map of the city printed on the front. The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board's Management Committee, Najam Sethi, was in attendance at the event. 



The Qalandars will begin their title defense against the Multan Sultans in a rematch of the grand final from the 7th edition of the PSL. The two teams will face off at the Multan Cricket Stadium after an opening ceremony on February 13. The Qalandars will strive to become the first team to win back-to-back titles, while Islamabad United aims to become the most successful team by lifting the trophy three times.
